Gabriola Street Art August 21st

I raided my Etsy shop to make sure I Had lots of choice for the ladies

In total I started the day with around 190 pairs

Fishing Trip

Well My Wife and I recently got a small zodiac inflatable boat.

We both love to fish, the other day my father in law gave us his aluminum boat and a 4.5 hp out board.

Yesterday the weather gods and Mrs Mountains days off lined up for perfect weather for our first trip out. We have not been out in a boat fishing together for 6 years in the ocean.

We got off to a rough start when we arrived to put the boat in the water we found one of our oars was missing.Oh well we have the engine and one oar so off we go, We moved around a few times and caught fish and had a blast.As usual Mrs mountain caught more fish than I did.I enjoyed watching her face light up as she reeled in yet another helpless victim.

Then it was time to Head in would the engine start nope pull as I would the thing refused.

She in the bows started paddling to shore.We were about 1000' of the land and the tide and wind were against us. We crabbed side ways across the current getting slowly closer.Her in the bow and me in the stern. I was using the net to Paddle with.Turns out a net makes a pretty good emergency paddle.

Enough of my prattle and here's some pictures of what we caught.

Good morning All

I woke up and as usual checked my heartamatic for overnight views.

I sat In stunned silence my views were 500 overnight 10 new shop hearts.

bunches of new item hearts I was like wow.

I went to my Etsy and had a convo from my friend Miss Cindy Lou congratulating me on being on the front page. Well this Big old Mountain Man Cried When I went back to featured on Heartamatic.

I Re took the photo for this item Yesterday evening using an old 2.5 gal water jug and lights.

I have slowly been redoing my photos.Using this method light tent.

So what do you do when you have over 200 pairs of Feather Earrings.

The display/ storage racks are 6' high and 2' wide

I usually have 8 pairs on each wire.

Each rack can hold over 100 pairs of Earrings.

Now I know some bright spark will say you don't have over 200 in your pictures.

These pictures are just the pairs for sale on Etsy

and my whimseys.

The display that I take to the local markets has 72 pairs on it none of which are on etsy.

Now maybe you can see why I say what you

see in the picture in my etsy shop is what I ship.

I do not reuse photos and say your item may be different.

no 2 pairs of feather earrings are truly identical.The same can be said of the two earrings that make up a pair.

This hungry 3 point deer did not mind me out working with the chain saw this morning.

He even stayed while i went to the house and got the camera.

Then posed for the picture I was about 20'away.

The First Of Whimseys Explore driftwood

Gabriola Island lies on the east side of Vancouver Island Near the town Of Nannimo.

Theres lots of wood drifting up here on the rocky shores. And Whimseys love driftwood.
